Shannon was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC, where she met her husband Adam through their local church. They moved to Birmingham shortly after getting married and have been at Philadelphia Baptist Church since 2015.  She and Adam have 4 children. Her favorite things include quality time and conversation with her family and friends, a strong cup of coffee or Earl Grey tea, a good book, long hikes in the local parks of Birmingham, and UNC basketball.

Shannon is currently working on her Master of Arts in Christian Counseling at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and is on staff at PBC as an administrative assistant.
